The part of the trip we were dreading: The 1.5 hour drive over a dirt road that left our internal organs in places they shouldn't have been and jarred some of Jim's recently done dental work.
As we ascended into the Monteverede cloud forest, we discovered where it got its name. The clouds slowly thickened and by the time we arrived at the Hotel, we were in the midst of a downpour.
